Synne Øien Stensland<\/strong> is a Senior Researcher (Researcher I), medical doctor, and pediatric specialist at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS). She heads the Section for Trauma, Disasters, and Forced Migration – Children and Youth, and conducts research on the health impacts of violence, crises, and disasters on children and adolescents. Her work aims to strengthen resilience and improve services for vulnerable groups – including LGBTQ+ youth, children exposed to trauma, war, terrorism, and forced migration – and their families, through evidence-based interventions and cross-sector collaboration.<\/p>\n
